The problem of hacking is one of the most frustrating factors when playing online games, especially in FPS games like CS2 or Valorant, where just one moment or advantage can completely change the situation. match situation.
Realizing this problem, game developers always try to optimize the anti-hacking system as much as possible. If Valorant is proud to have Vanguard, then CS2 has also introduced Valve Anti-Check (VAC). But don't be too happy, you can still be mercilessly banned if you use products from semiconductor component manufacturer AMD, famous for its Ryzen CPU and Radeon GPU product lines.
CS2 gamers using AMD suddenly ‘got hit’
AMD's latest driver has made their "Anti-Lag/+" feature available for CS2, which is implemented by detouring engine dll functions.
If you are an AMD customer and play CS2, DO NOT ENABLE ANTI-LAG/+; any tampering with CS code will result in a VAC ban.

AMD's latest driver has added the "Anti Lag/+" feature to some games, including Counter-Strike 2. However, Valve has warned that: "If you use AMD products and When playing CS2, don't turn on Anti Lag/+, otherwise you will be banned by VAC.
This information has made the community extremely confused. Of course, many gamers felt very surprised and dissatisfied with this information. Some people are even banned by VAC for no reason. Although Valve has tried to review mistakenly banned accounts, of course not all victims have their bans lifted.
“Once AMD sends out a new update, Valve will do its work to identify affected users” to try to resolve the situation. The team also reported to AMD, but the component company has yet to respond or release any driver updates.
Questions about AMD drivers?
Hey guys! I've heard AMD drivers and CS2 have an issue that can cause bans. I'm not tech savvy, so I'm worried I might have the wrong settings and could get falsely banned. I updated my drivers recently but don't know if AMD Anti Lag was on. Has this issue been fixed, or is there a way to check? Thanks!
Answer: It only affects the newest RX 7000 Series, so if you don't have that, don't worry. If you do have an RX 7000 model, don't use Anti-Lag+. On the 23.10.1 driver, the Anti-Lag+ feature causes VAC bans. Only Anti-Lag+ has this issue; regular Anti-Lag works fine, but I recommend deactivating any version of Anti-Lag until the problem is fixed to safely play the game.
